Drama in Costa Rica

Not a great way to rebound from a 1-0 loss at Wembley. Spain entered today thinking that they were going to win this friendly against Costa Rica with ease. That was not the case. The Costa Rican field was wet and cause problems for the Spanish passing game. A fatal goalie error from Iker Casillas cost Spain a goal. Another goal 11 minutes later from Arsenal youth striker Joel Campbell made it 2-0 at the break. The Spanish need to fix their mindset. They're going into games thinking that they are the best in the world but they are not playing like the best at the moment. It's evident that they need to fix whatever problem they have. There is no motivation possibly. They've won Euro 2008 and World Cup 2010 what else is there to do? They need to keep winning, if they don't the game won't progress into the beautiful style the Spanish play. No matter if they tied this game 2-2 by a last minute David Villa goal, Spain need to crush these kinds of teams. Their defense isn't looking strong and their midfield isn't dominating the game. Possession isn't what won games for the Spanish in the past, it's what they did with it.
In order to rebound Spain need to come out into the 2012 international breaks by crushing whatever team they play. Play Fabregas, Silva, Villa, Xavi, Iniesta, Puyol, Pique, Casillas, Xabi Alonso and whomever else. They need a win to pick up their form before the Euro 2012.
