Stade Rennes tops Lyon

In an epic battle between 4th place Lyon and 5th place Stade Rennes in Ligue 1, Stade Rennes claimed their place in Ligue 1 with a 2-1 victory. Both teams had lots of chances and Lyon actually took the 1-0 lead in the 36' but Stade Rennes bounced back quickly. The 1st half definitely went to Lyon even with a header off the post for Rennes. The second half however, Lyon only created 1 chance. Rennes won it 8 minutes in to the second half. They were truly better in the second half but the match as a whole was pretty even.
