International Breaks

International Breaks are sometimes needed and sometimes they just kill the fans. Fans get into a nice routine of watching their favorite club teams on Saturday or Sunday but these International Breaks cut into League play. It also effects players through injuries. Rafael Van der Vaart of Tottenham suffered a hamstring injury against Switzerland in a 0-0 draw for Holland. He's scored in each of the last 4 games for Tottenham, imagine the impact him being on the bench will be. Tottenham however do have depth and could easily put in Jermaine Defoe who has been scoring.  Robin Van Persie of Arsenal is not allowed to play for Holland against Germany because of his past international injuries. As much as fans might hate International Breaks, clubs hate them more.
On the other hand there is something great about international breaks. International competitions are so interesting in that you get to see players from rival club teams interact in a way you don't see them interact ever. Also the International Breaks give people time to support their country, it also gives a preview for the World Cup.
